FAQs
We’ll cover the fundamentals of hangboard training, including proper technique, injury prevention, workout structure, recovery, and how to incorporate hangboarding into your climbing goals.
Yes, climbing experience is recommended. Hangboarding places stress on the fingers, tendons, and shoulders, that people who climb are already attuned to, so jumping in without any experience isn’t recommended.
If you’re currently dealing with a finger, hand, elbow, shoulder, or other upper-body injury, this workshop might not be for you. If you want to attend but not participate so you can learn to be able to implement things into your training later on, that’s fine with us.
Depends. Not if you’re not ready for that just yet. The focus of the workshop is learning proper technique and training principles, not testing your limits. Exercises will be adjusted to appropriate intensity levels.
