First Time Climbers Gift Cards Frequently Asked Questions

Rec Team (7-13 yrs)

Rec Team is a coached class for brand new and experienced climbers interested in building on their skills through direct instruction and games.

Climbers will practice both bouldering and top rope climbing disciplines. Climbing helps improve kinesthetic sense, proprioception, and self confidence in a positive social environment.

Neurodivergent climbers are welcome.

Program Includes

  • 2 hour long sessions
  • Option to sign up for 1 or 2 classes a week
  • Gear (shoes and harness)
  • Introduction to gym environment and basic skills
  • Climbers will participate in:
    • Basic strength and conditioning
    • Climbing drills
    • Activities and games
  • Climbers will learn:
    • Teamwork
    • Social skills
    • Sportsmanship
  • Gym Membership so that climbers can work on their skills outside of classes

One class per week:

10% sibling discount

All youth fees include a membership to the gym and gear rentals.
