Assisted Top Rope Belay

This is one of the systems we use that will be available at Adaptive Climbing events. It is a double top rope belay system that acts as a counter weight. This system is for folks looking to use the climbing holds on the walls while on top rope. It will take weight off of the climber as they climb and when sitting back in the harness.

The second assisted belay system allows participants to “climb the rope” at varying levels of mechanical advantage using a block and tackle pulley system. This is used for climbers who are unable to or do not want to utilize the holds on the wall. Using specialized climbing equipment, participants will ascend the rope.

We have a variety of climbing terrain for you to climb on, including slab, vertical and overhung routes.
