Climbing Club (8-12 yrs)

Climbing Club is designed for kids ages 8-12 who want to climb and have fun while doing so. Participants should expect an active fitness experience that introduces beginners to the sport of climbing while also providing an opportunity for recreational climbers to advance.

Through games, creative challenges and skill building activities, participants will learn and develop basic climbing skills/technique, improve kinesthetic sense, and increase self-confidence.

Climbing Club will always include warm-up exercises, bouldering, top rope climbing along with a variety of movement challenges, obstacle courses and team building activities.

Overall, climbing club aims to further develop individual climbing and movement skills in a supportive and fun-filled environment.

Join the Team

Monthly participation on our Youth Teams requires prior approval from the coaching staff. To join this program please follow all of the steps below.

Sign ups for Rec Teams occur on a rolling basis, and participants that start mid-month will be charged a pro-rated amount for the rest of that month. Regular dues are charged on the 1st of every month.

Steps to Start

Here are the steps to get started in our youth programming:

  1. Free trial: Sign up below for a free trial practice. Choose “voucher” option. This is not a guarantee of admission to the program, but a chance for the coaches to meet kids and determine the best fit for your child.
  2. Coach Conversation: At the end of your trial session please talk to the coaches before leaving to discuss the best options for your child.
  3. Follow Up: If you did not talk after your trial email Greg@centralrockgym.com with your interest in the program.
  4. Obtain Approval: If the coaches approved the addition to the program they will set up your child’s membership and billing.
