Human Powered Challenge

CHALLENGE YOURSELF THIS JULY!

Our summer Human Powered Challenge is back! During the entire month of July we challenge you to get to the gym without using gas or electricity. For each mile you travel, you’ll earn earn raffle tickets. More miles = more tickets. At the end of the month, use your tickets to enter into raffles for cool prizes from local businesses.

Free to participate in this challenge! Of course, non-members must purchase day passes to use the facility.

HOW IT WORKS

Pick up your tracking sheet at the front desk on or after July 1st and get moving!

1 mile traveled without a motor = 1 ticket

Only miles traveled to CRG count. Miles traveled on your way home do not count.

Travel methods could include walking, biking, running, skating, unicycling, hopping, skipping… basically anything that doesn’t require gas or electricity!

Gold Star Days (7/15 & 7/31) = Double ticket for miles

Complete bonus challenges for extra tickets and to win Paper Plate awards!

On Friday, July 31st we will have a Paper Plate awards ceremony and the silent auction! Be sure to be present on this day to bid on the prizes you want a chance at.

*You can bid on multiple prize packs, but you can only win one.

  • Bring a guest to CRG who also commutes without gas or electricity
  • Use two forms of transportation in one trip

Photo Challenges:

You receive +1 ticket if you take a photo of any of the below challenges, post the photo to Instagram (either post OR story) and tag @centralrockrochester. You can receive 1 extra ticket per each challenge line item listed below.
Each Photo Challenge you do will also enter you into the running for Paper Plate Awards for Best Of photo for that category.

Additional Information!

Absolutely! Non-Members are welcome to participate in this challenge. They will need to purchase a Day Pass in order to access the facility as usual.

Anything, so long as it is not assisted by any kind of motor. You are the motor!
