This monthly climbing meet-up is especially for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) climbers to meet new people and build community. We recognize that it can feel intimidating to go to the climbing gym. The goal of this event is to support BIPOC folks to feel empowered in their bodies and free to take up space on the walls. All levels of experience are welcome, whether you’re brand new to climbing, have been in the sport for decades, or anything in between.
Hosted by a BIPOC community member & LGBTQIA+ affirming <3
What to Expect:
We’ll start every meet up with introductions. Then, we’ll break into small groups by interest.
Is this your first time climbing? Welcome! After making your reservation, please watch the video and complete the required forms included in your booking confirmation email. When you come in for your first visit, CRG Staff will help you get climbing shoes and provide you with necessary info. This is a great event for those looking to climb for the first time!
