What is the Grasshopper Board?

The Grasshopper Board is an interactive indoor climbing training board that uses LED-lit holds and a mobile app to create and follow routes.

By selecting climbs in the Grasshopper app, climbers can:

  • Follow LED-lit holds that guide each route
  • Track progress in-app
  • Create custom problems or climb community-set problems
  • Incorporate structured, repeatable training
  • Build strength, movement precision, and consistency

The Grasshopper Board comes in multiple sizes and features a mirrored layout. Most often it is also angle adjustable. Check with your specific location to see which size board they have.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate to advanced
