Recreational Team

Designed for kids ages 8-16, the Recreational Team is the perfect next step for climbers who are ready to build their skills and spend more time on the wall. Whether you’re continuing from JumpStart or just beginning your climbing journey, our coaches provide the guidance and support needed to help every climber grow!

Practices focus on building a strong foundation in climbing through warm-ups, strength training, drills, skill-building challenges, and coach-led instruction. By utilizing bouldering, top-rope climbing, and auto-belays, team members develop technique, movement, balance, strength, and confidence across a variety of climbing styles.

The Recreational Team provides a fun, supportive, non-competitive environment where climbers can progress at their own pace. Enrollment includes a full membership to CRG. Parental supervision is required for kids under age 13 outside of designated practice times.

Ready to get started? Complete our interest form below, and we’ll reach out to you!
