Adaptive Climbing at CRG Glastonbury

This page is for general information on adaptive offerings at CRG Glastonbury. See below for upcoming events!

CRG Glastonbury strives to be inclusive and open to those with permanent disabilities to allow them to participate in the sport of climbing. If you have a permanent disability that limits normal daily function physically and/or developmentally, then you are an Adaptive Climber! We welcome first timers as well as those with climbing experience. Volunteers are also welcome to help out and get involved!

Our staff are dedicated to making our community inclusive and many have gone through an adaptive climbing training with Paradox Sports. We learn how to work with adaptive climbers and the equipment to better assist customers with disabilities. All are welcome to stop by our gym to give climbing a try! The use of some adaptive equipment requires setup by trained staff, so advance notice is needed if interested in using it. Please email Máire, mclarke@centralrockgym.com, with any questions or concerns, or if you’d like to stop in!
