Before You Visit
No experience is required. This session is designed for beginners and first-time climbers.
We generally recommend ages 5 and up for the best experience. Smaller children may have difficulty reaching the holds.
Most guests can participate in Climb With an Instructor, though some climbing activities do have equipment-related guidelines.
For auto belays, participants must weigh between 25 and 309 pounds. Rope climbing generally does not have maximum weight restrictions, though participants must fit into our climbing harnesses. We have harnesses that fit up to approximately a 55-inch waist. Bouldering does not have size or weight restrictions.
If you have any questions about fit, accessibility, or accommodations, we encourage you to contact your local gym before booking.
No. Climb With an Instructor is a separate private guided experience and is not included with membership.
If you’re a member who is not belay certified, we recommend taking a free Learn the Ropes class.
Already belay certified but don’t have a climbing partner? We often host meetups and events, and our staff can often help point you toward good ways to meet other climbers in the community.
