Yin Yoga
Wednesday 6:30-7:30pm
Instructor: Hannah
Yin Yoga consists of grounded poses that are held passively for long periods of time. Gravity, body weight and breath are working together to target the deeper connective tissues (facia, ligaments, etc.) which cannot be reached when the muscles are engaged. Class begins and ends in a restful pose. There is minimal movement throughout. Props may be used to increase sensation and gain more access into the body.
Core & Stretch
Saturday 10-10:30am
Enjoy finding where power resides and how to use it while working in the body to find space and balance. While core work is center stage, mobility and range of motion will also be addressed with longer holds, flow, and slow movements. You will also move through spaces that will challenge your understanding of how to redistribute body weight to create more easeful balance and stability. Great addition to your CRUX Run morning or to wake you up to being centered and feeling strong before getting on the wall.
