Climb Beyond the Barrier

Central Rock Gym is excited to be partnering with Climb Beyond the Barrier to bring Boulder in Color, a monthly BIPOC Climb Night, to the New York metropolitan area. Climb Beyond the Barrier Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization, whose goal is to create safe and welcoming spaces for everyone to experience the thrill of climbing, regardless of their background.

While this meet up is intended to create a welcoming space for the BIPOC community to enjoy climbing, in alignment with our values, all individuals are welcome to attend and participate in this meetup. We ask that attendees do so with respect for that intention.

Pricing:

  • CRG Members: FREE
  • Non-Members: $22 (gear included)

Registration:

  • Please use the calendar at the bottom of the page to RSVP to the event, so that we can plan accordingly. You will receive a confirmation email upon registration, which will have links that first time participants should use to sign their Participation Agreements prior to arrival. This will significantly speed up everyone’s check-in time.
  • The Non-Member fee is refundable with at least 24 hours notice of cancellation.

Schedule:

First Wednesday Monday of every month, 6:00 – 8:00 PM @ CRG Chelsea (27th street).
