CRG Adaptive is for Paraclimbers, climbers with physical disabilities, and volunteers (able-bodied or physically disabled) who would like to learn more and participate in our climbing community!
Whether this is your first time climbing or you’ve been participating for your entire life, this is a great opportunity to have fun and connect with fellow adaptive climbers. Volunteers provide pointers and encouragement along with belay support. Participants must be age 13 or older. All skill levels and physical disabilities are welcome. Participants must register in advance so we know how many volunteers and what type of rigging systems to have on hand. We encourage independence, but if you need one-on-one help, that’s okay – we just ask that you bring someone to help assist our staff!
For people who are not members of Central Rock Gym we offer a special discounted rate of $10 per visit which includes a harness, shoes, and belay equipment. All proceeds from these visits go back into supporting the adaptive climbing program.
