Whether you’re just starting out or feel like some specific technical skill is lacking, we’ve put together a series of instructional classes to get you on the path to progression! With eight different classes that range from the most basic of climbing technique all the way to fitness and injury prevention information, this program will give you the tools you need to succeed.

Learn about how footwork affects your balance on the wall, and how to do more with your feet to reduce the strain on your fingers and arms. 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7:00pmProprioception is the awareness of position and movement of the body. This class is designed specifically to help climbers learn what their bodies are capable of, what their limits are, and how to start moving with specific intent on the wall. 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:00pmAn introduction to climbing, which includes identifying the various types of holds and ways to better utilize them through improved body positioning, move sequencing, and route reading skills. This class is an ideal starting point for newer climbers looking to get oriented and onto the path to progression! Use the calendar at the bottom of this page to select a class and sign up! |
1st & 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00pmThe goal of this class is to help climbers refine their process of working on, or “projecting”, climbs that are at or above their max level. Equal parts mental and physical exercise, the Projecting class will teach climbers to analyze both themselves and their projects critically, and provide the tools to continue to do so outside of class. |
2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00pmClimbing can be incredibly straining on your fingers, muscles, and joints! Learn about what kinds of aches, pains, and injuries are common to climbing, and how to avoid them through better warm-ups, preventative exercises, and resting habits. 2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00pmThe Dynamic Climbing class focuses on the subset of movements that require the generation and control of momentum to propel you towards your target hold(s). Climbers will learn about deadpoints, pogos, dynos, and everything in between. The critical muscle groups used in Dynamic Climbing, and the exercises done to strengthen them, will be reviewed. |
2nd & 4th Thursday of each month at 6:00pmClimbing harder is all about the interplay of power and efficiency. Learn the fundamentals of how to move more efficiently through advanced footwork techniques, better breathing practices, and dynamic vs. static movement. 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month at 7:00pmThe Balanced & Static Climbing class focuses on the subset of movements that require a slow, careful and tense approach, as well as a stable core and lower body. Climbers will learn to trust their feet and actively engage the critical lower muscle groups for a fine-tuned approach to balance, while exploring a variety of weight management and distribution techniques.
