We now have a staff member certified as a Climbing Merit Badge Counselor! We’ll cover all the requirements for the badge over 6 hours. Due to the amount of material we’ll be covering, the badge must be completed in two 3-hour sessions. Rappelling, belaying, knot tying, Leave No Trace, and climbing safety are all included in this educational program. Please be aware that this offering is more instruction intensive to cover the Boy Scouts of America requirements. We suggest scheduling these sessions in consecutive weeks to ensure the information covered is remembered between sessions.
Availability: We currently offer this program on Wednesday evenings, from 6pm-9pm for groups of up to 12 participants. Make sure to reserve both sessions at least two weeks advance. Age: While we will accept ages 10 and up, we recommend reserving this badge for ages 13 and over, as some of the material can be more difficult to grasp for the younger age groups.
Price: $70 per participant ($35 per session) with an 8 participant minimum each session. A $50 deposit is due upon booking.
