Whether through school, a summer camp, or after school program, a field trip to Central Rock Gym can be the perfect outlet for kids to exercise and have fun with climbing! We’re very flexible with our programming, and we can work with you to provide the optimal experience for your particular group. Paying through invoice? Just let us know when you book the event, and we’ll send the necessary paperwork!
Our events are typically 2-hours long and $35/participant with a $280 minimum and $50 deposit due upon booking. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information and to book your event!
Below are some examples of programs we’ve done in the past:
Two-Hour Standard Event: Includes 2 hours of rope climbing with staff proving belaying. This is a great option for mixed age groups, and groups with kids under age 13.
Intro to Climbing: Groups with ages 13 and over are invited to learn the process of belaying themselves! The event will begin with an hour-long class that teaches the fundamentals of belaying, the process of keeping the rope tight for a climbing partner. The participants will learn valuable team building skills that they’ll use after the class to climb with each other for the remaining time in the event.
Physical Education Requirement: We’re happy to work with schools to provide an alternative for phys-ed requirements! We’ve worked with schools to provide continual instruction for 6 weeks during normal gym class times, and we’ve also provided a whole day of activities to groups.
