Central Rock Gym has designed these educational technique classes to provide climbers of all abilities with the knowledge, strength training, and motivation needed to progress in the sport of climbing. These classes are for members only and are included in your membership. The four classes can be taken in any order (Movement & Efficiency; Holds, Sequence, & Body Position; Footwork & Balance; Mobility, Stability, & Antagonist Training).
Hold Usage, Sequencing, & Body Position
This class introduces climbers to various types of holds and how to use/grip them, and includes a brief overview of body position and the relationship between hold position. With a focus on route reading and sequencing, this class will set any climber up for success before they even get off the ground!
- If you cannot make a class during the normally scheduled times, we can run additional classes as long as we have at least 2 people who want to take the class. Please email joshc@centralrockgym.com to set up a separate time.
