All participants must complete the following 3 forms in order to participate. Forms must be completed by the parent or legal guardian if the participant is under the age of 18.
Recreational Climbing Team (8 - 16 yrs)
Our Recreational Climbing Team is designed for kids ages 8 – 16 who are strong climbers and/or have a desire to become better climbers. This team provides a great environment for those who are both interested in learning more and are motivated to become even better, more technical climbers, without competition being mandatory.
Used as a stepping stone to our Competitive Climbing Team, structured sessions consist of a substantial warm-up, climbing drills to focus on different techniques and build strength, group workouts, and team-building activities.
The fall climbing season is mostly bouldering, while spring training focuses more on top roping. This will ensure that kids who eventually advance to the Competitive Team will be following the same pattern as the climbing competitions.
These teams are guaranteed to introduce kids to others with their same level of interest and form lasting relationships within our young climbing community. Days are Tuesday & Thursday, and times are 4:30pm – 6:15pm.
