Join Central Rock Gym and the ParaCliff Hangers for an Adaptive Climbing night! Hosted by members of the CRG team as well as volunteers from the community, and in conjunction with the ParaCliff Hangers organization, our goal is to provide access to indoor rock climbing for climbers of all types and ability levels.

**This fee is only for those friends and family of ParaClimbers who also wish to participate in climbing. We ask that anyone who wishes to spectate but not necessarily participate still register, but as a Spectator.**

Accessibility

  • Our facility is wheelchair friendly, with ramp access inside and outside the gym, and a dedicated elevator between the lobby and climbing area
  • The front desk and all restrooms are ADA compliant.

FAQs

  • We are located on 60th street, between West End Avenue & Freedom Place.
  • The nearest Accessible subway station is 59th Street – Columbus Circle, which services the A,B,C,D & 1 lines.
  • There is also the M57 bus service which has stops at both 61st and 59th street on West End Avenue

Yes, Friday evenings after 6pm the gym welcomes those age 13 and up.

We will do our best to keep the event running as long as possible, but certain roped systems put in place to provide greater accessibility will need to be removed when CRG staff are no longer available to facilitate.

Access to bouldering, conventional top roping, and the auto-belays will stay available to everyone until the facility closes at 11:00 PM.
