Join us with your coworkers and friends to climb at Central Rock Gym for this fun event to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters and earn yourself the Climbathon Champion title!
Individuals who take the lead in fundraising will be awarded more raffle tickets for the chance to win cool prizes! For every $50 you raise, you’ll receive 5 raffle tickets.
Are you wondering how the Climbathon works?
Here is the basic idea:
1. Set a goal for yourself to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters.
2. On the day of the event you will come in and climb your heart out and try to get as many points by completing as many climbs as you can.
There are two categories you can win:
A. Fundraising (whoever raises the most funds for BBBS, and
B. Climbing (whoever gets the most points).
Registration fee: $30 per person
Fundraising goal: $100 per person
Your registration fee applies toward your total fundraising goal!
PLUS: Each participant will receive:
Free Belay Class (worth $20 each)
2 Free Climbing & Gear Passes (worth $30 each)
Free raffle ticket to win cool prizes!

The Belay Class, which takes 60-90 minutes, is a safety class for using the ropes with a climbing partner. This class is required in order to participate in the event unless you are already certified to belay at Central Rock Gym Hadley.
While one person climbs, another belays to secure the rope for the climber. Anyone over 7 years old can participate in the event as a climber, but individuals must be 13 years old in order to take the belay class and belay.

All participants, belayers, climbers, spectators, and humans at the event will be required to have a Central Rock Gym waiver on file. Waivers can be filled out here.
Anyone under the age of 18 must have their waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
