STRENGTH AND BALANCEThis class covers a variety of functional training exercises designed to improve balance and flexibility while increasing muscle strength and overall body conditioning. A variety of equipment will be used during this comprehensive and well-balanced full body workout. This class is designed with modifications and is suitable for all fitness levels. TABATAThis class will heavily focus on building up your cardiovascular system while strengthening your overall foundation. Expect a variety of exercises, from sit ups and planks to crawling and jumping! This class will take place in the Weight Room. Water Bottles and your own exercise/ yoga mat are recommended! BOOTCAMP w/ KBThis total body boot camp is a FUN, high energy and high intensity class! We will focus on maximizing cardiovascular endurance and strength while maintaining proper form and improving mobility. Each class will consist of a warmup, workout, cool down and stretch. The workout will vary from week to week- circuits, relays, intervals, partner challenges, tabata, AMRAP and so on! All fitness levels are welcome. Take this class at your own pace. Teamwork, motivation and a positive attitude are key. This class is a fun competitive environment, but remember, it’s always YOU VS YOU! STRENGTH CAMPCRG Strength Camps involve structured group training in a high-energy environment. This class is designed to improve the many facets of human movement, wellness and overall quality of life. Strength Camp attendees will develop competency and progress each week in a variety of functional training exercises and utilize a variety of equipment including dumbbells, kettlebells, ropes, medicine balls, and more. This class is easily scaled to welcome all movers, no experience necessary.

KETTLEBELLS & CALISTHENICSThis minimal equipment maximal movement class is designed to prepare you for a Kettlebell workout that scales to your desired intensity and leaves you ready to climb after. We will start with a full body calisthenics mobility routine with a focus on the muscles and ranges of motion needed for kettlebell movements to come, a swift core workout to prime you for the range of static and ballistic exercises we will perform, followed by the primary workout and a restoring cooldown stretching session. Each week we will introduce 2-4 kettlebell exercises you will eventually learn to swing, press, clean, snatch and much more.

PilatesPilates mat classes get right to the core of the matter, combining alignment cues, coordination strategies, and strength-building exercises for efficient movement. Come as you are with or without your personal mat. Be prepared to lie down, sit and stand. Socked feet are best for this class.
Instructor: Maureen Shea Maureen has been teaching Pilates for 20 years. Her Pilates and dance teaching experience includes training undergrad dancers, older adults, adults returning to activities after injury, and children. Since the fall of 2021, she has been an adjunct professor in the dance department at Springfield College. Free for Members Schedule: Thursdays 7-8pm Location: Yoga Studio

Weight Room Skills SeriesThe Weight Room Skills series is a set of 4 classes aimed to help you become competent and confident when strength training. Cross-training can be an important part of progressing as a climber and can also be an important part of building a healthy lifestyle. Whether you are totally new to weightlifting, or are looking to refine your current program, this class is a great opportunity to work with NSCA certified Personal Trainer, Sara McFadden, a long-time climber. This class is for members-only.

For All Classes Please Note: Space is limited, sign-up below to reserve your spot. Please plan to arrive prior to the scheduled class start time. Late-arrivals will not be able to join in once the class has begun. If you are not able to make it to a class you have booked, email hadley@centralrockgym.com to cancel. To make sure we do not have un-used class spaces, members that do not cancel at least 1-hr prior to the scheduled class time will be subject to a $5 no-show fee. The booking window for classes opens 1-week in advance at 8am. Unless noted, classes are limited to members age 16+
