All Levels Yoga – SpencerMonday EveningThis session is set-up as an all level Vinyasa class and meant to keep both experienced yoga enthusiasts as well as those trying it for the first time before heading out to the climbing walls. The class is generally a bit more challenging than typical level 1 classes. The Yoga instructor will be happy to tailor the class to whoever shows up and will offer appropriate variations for the different levels of students in the class. While it is advisable to have some yoga experience before attending classes, a fit beginner should fit right in and will likely have company.

Cuing emphasizes effective alignment, with poses generally held longer to deepen with the breath and build strength over time. Numerous modifications offered throughout the class, making it suitable for all levels.

All Levels Yoga Fit– with AlisaWednesday EveningAn energizing vinyasa flow designed to stretch and strengthen the muscles of both the body and mind. Class incorporates conscious breathing and meditation, as well as physical movement. The physical practice (asana) offers both modifications and more advanced poses to accommodate all levels, with an emphasis on alignment in the postures. Location: Yoga Studio

Adaptive Yoga – AmyEvery other ThursdayThis class is taught with attention to modifications, minimal transitions and ample repetition to support individuals living with disability due to injury, paralysis, amputation, arthritis, cerebral palsy or other cognitive or physical difference. Class can be done completely from a chair (wheelchair or stationary), or can involve floor-based postures, depending on student preference. A caregiver or support person is welcome to attend to assist with class sequence. No prior yoga experience necessary for either the student or support person. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to class to allow for settling in and discussion of specific supports needed. Class taught by Amy Aubrecht, who completed a 200hr Forrest Yoga Foundation Teacher Training in 2015 and an Adaptive Yoga Training with Mind Body Solutions in 2017 (https://www.mindbodysolutions.org/).
