This workshop offers a guided exploration of some of the more challenging poses in a physical yoga practice, arm balances. Arm balances require strength, balance, and focus. Learn to cultivate all three in this two hour workshop geared to prepare your body to balance on it’s arms. This workshop provides an in depth look at the components that make up preparing for and staying in an arm balance, such as wrist strength, weight distribution in the hands, and core engagement. Learn about modifications to arm balances that meet your body where it is and create muscle memory to grow in your practice. Learn to get into or get stronger in poses such as crow, side crow, eight-angle pose, flying splits, flying pigeon, and more.
